Job Purpose

To strategize and implement the integrated marcoms plan.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage Commercial / Business Development

• Work with the project team to devise and implement strategies, policies and procedures for marketing & communications activities for the Exhibition Dept and its portfolio of exhibitions Develop innovative marketing campaigns, tools and activities Assist the project and project managers in pitching for corporate sponsors
• Undertake the development and production of all marketing collateral in conjunction with Project Managers across a range of regional and international exhibitions from the DWTC portfolio Work with the project team to develop the shows through database building, research, and enhanced exhibition offerings e.g. conference programs, gala dinners, awards ceremonys
• Source, negotiate, and manage external support agencies including printers, design, marketing, PR, photography and media Develop and research new show ideas and markets

Core Operations Management

• Manage exhibition onsite activities including press conferences, press days and media centres
• Database management
• Research and develop dedicated Data management procedures for the whole department

Core Governance and Process Management

• Ensure all marketing collateral is professionally produced, of the highest quality and reflects exhibition and corporate guidelines

Core Organisational Management

• Ensure the identity guidelines are adhered to by internal departments and external agencies

Operating Environment

• Office-based job; require working longer hours on the computer

Minimum Qualifications/Education/Experience/Training/Knowledge Formal Education

• A marketing or business degree.
• Work Experience Minimum 5 years experience in Marketing, preferably with marketing experience in the exhibition organizing industry.
• Wide exposure to marketing related practices and precedents

Skills and Knowledge

• In-depth knowledge of business management and business practices.
• Ideally, a formal qualification in business/management studies.
• Training Include any specific previous training (both internal and external) needed to do the job. Example:
• Delivering awareness session or training on any new process for employees within the organization.

Salary: AED12,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
